Shared futures initiative

Shared Futures is part of the project “Supporting the Western Balkans’ Collective Leadership on Reconciliation”, a joint project of the United Nations and the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO), funded by the United Nations Peacebuilding Fund.

The project is implemented by RYCO and three United Nations Agencies: UNDP, UNFPA, and UNICEF. The project aims to build capacities and momentum for RYCO, empower young people in having a voice in public decision-making that affects their lives, as well as strengthen young people’s capacity to be a factor in building and maintaining safe and peaceful environments for themselves and their communities.
